About the Author. Jose Corpas.
Jose Corpas is a native of Brooklyn, NY. His interest in boxing was instilled at an early age when he used to jump up on the couch and watch ABC's Wide World of Sports with his father. He later tagged along with his older brother to a local boxing gym. There he et and befriended many of the local boxing figures and listened intently to all of the stories of the past.
Corpas is a member of the International Boxing Research Organization. He first joined in 1996 and once again in 2005. He is also an official with USA Boxing Metro.
He hopes that his work will bring back fond memories of the many boxers who helped to make boxing exciting a unforgettable.
